High-precision quartz drilling plates: A guide to the application of core special components in the field of precision manufacturing
Quartz drilling plates are core functional components made from high-purity quartz materials through precise processing. The purity of SiO₂ can reach up to 99.99%. Different from ordinary flat quartz plates, it retains the basic advantages of quartz substrate such as high-temperature resistance, high light transmittance, and chemical stability. At the same time, through ultra-fast laser and CNC precision drilling processes, it can achieve precise forming of hole diameters ranging from 0.1mm to 50mm. They are indispensable key supporting components in demanding conditions such as semiconductors, high-end optics, and medical equipment.
As a core advantageous product in the field of precision processing, quartz drilling plates exhibit particularly outstanding thermal performance. Their long-term tolerance temperature can reach 1250℃, and the short-term peak tolerance temperature can exceed 1400℃. After the surface of the holes is polished by plasma in a dust-free environment, the roughness (Ra) is less than or equal to 0.2 μm. For medical-specific models, the roughness can be reduced to less than or equal to 0.1 μm. This significantly reduces light transmission loss and avoids interference caused by the cracking at the hole edges and burrs, making it an ideal substrate for laser reference sheets, endoscope light guiding components, and optical light transmission components for lithography.
In terms of processing accuracy and scene adaptation, the leading suppliers in the current industry can stably control the aperture tolerance within ±0.01mm. Through a comprehensive precision inspection system, they conduct a full inspection of 12 indicators such as aperture tolerance, light transmittance, and thermal expansion coefficient for each batch of products, and provide a complete inspection report upon delivery.
