- 耐高温性： 石英玻璃的硬化温度约为 1730°C。适用于 1100°C 的长期使用，短期最高耐温可达 1450°C。

- 耐腐蚀性： 卓越的化学稳定性，除氢氟酸外，能抵抗所有酸。耐酸性是陶瓷的 30 倍，不锈钢的 150 倍。
- 优异的热稳定性： 低热膨胀系数可承受剧烈的温度变化。可加热至 1100°C 并浸入冷水中而不破裂。
